Guy is the musical director for Playhouse Theatre Company, currently working with multiple casts on productions of Shrek The Musical and Carrie The Musical. He has previously worked with Playhouse on their productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Time Traveller and All Shook Up.

During his 3 years at Leeds Conservatoire, Guy trained in a variety of skills, including musical direction, conducting, vocal technique and care, piano skills as well as other musicianship techniques. This put him in an ideal position to take on Musical Direction for Amateur Theatre.

Playhouse Theatre Company were founded in 2023, and are an amateur theatre production company based in Dunfermline which is run by London professionals. Their focus is on creating a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where performers can hone their skills and gain confidence through performance. With a variety of exciting stage opportunities available, performers get the chance to showcase their talent and develop their technique. Their annual lineup includes 3 musicals, 2 plays, 1 summer school and 1 festive show, so performers get plenty of chances to take to the stage and shine in spectacular full-scale productions led by a passionate and experienced creative team!
